Crescent Lunge

DESCRIPTION

Take one step forward with your right foot aligning your knee over the heel. Keep your left foot planted and inhale, raising your upper body to upright. Lift your arms to above your head with the palms of your hands facing each other. Gently reach back remembering to not overarch your back. Hold for 30 seconds. Repeat on the left foot.


 

WANT TO MAKE IT HARDER OR EASIER?

Do not practice Crescent Lunge if you are currently experiencing high blood pressure or heart problems. Also avoid if you have a knee or spinal injury.

To make this easier, another option is to place your hands on your hips.

 

REMEMBER

Remember to not overarch your back.

Stretches legs, hip flexors, chest and shoulders.
